GCI Trail Sling Chair = Just Plain Cool
This is just plain cool. About twice as long as a water bottle, this GCI Trail Sling chair looks great for backpacking and weekend camping trips. It’s more real chair than those sleeping-pad-with-straps seats (aka: Crazy Creek chairs - and honestly, leaning against a rock or tree is about the same as using a Crazy Creek), because it gets your butt off wet ground or snow. The sling chair does look a bit like a hammock, but unlike a hammock you can still cook a meal while sitting in it and probably won’t have friends trying to flip you over like in a hammock. The only downside I can think of is that the sling chair won’t do double-duty as a sleeping pad, but at $14.38 for the Trail sling chair you can afford a sleeping pad too.
