The Ama Dablam Stretch Infusion jacket is the top waterproof, breathable shell from The North Face. Today discontinued colors are on sale at Moosejaw’s Lowdown Deal site. The Lowdown is a one-day deal site where the sales only last until midnight, or earlier if items are sold out sooner.
The Ama Dablam shell in 2005 has a performance fit, which means less bagginess, and stretch panels to keep movement easy and the jacket light. It’s also made from Gore-Tex XCR fabric - which is still the most breathable and lightest waterproof fabric out there.
