I’m sure that guided heli-hiking is a good idea, but I’m not entirely sure if I agree with it. It may be that I can’t afford these prices, but I’m going to sound way older than I really am and say that I like to earn my backcountry experience. …that being said, if I had thousands-$ laying around I would probably give heli-hiking a try just to see the difference between day-hiking from a Yellowstone lodge and flying out every morning to remote hikes.
