SmartWool Casual and Sport Socks 50% Off
These men’s Downtowner socks from SmartWool are a bit dressier than typical SmartWool hiking socks. I wear several pair to my business casual work and, made from merino wool and a bit of spandex, they’re a lot more comfortable and cushioned than normal dress socks.
The ankle-high women’s running socks have a good amount of cushion but are thin enough they don’t affect shoe fit. The wool wicks and keeps your feet dry in hot weather or warm in cooler weather. With a snug fit they also prevent blisters during long runs, SmartWool really got these right.

35% Off Salomon Elios XCR Hiking Shoes
Hiking shoes like this Salomon Elios XCR have made me reconsider not liking GoreTex-lined footwear. I still think GoreTex boots are only worthwhile in the freezing cold where they breathe well and aren’t likely to wet out and where the extra heat trapped by the GoreTex is appreciated. In the case of hiking shoes a pair of these and some ankle gaiters are your best chance of keeping your socks semi-dry after three days of rain and they aren’t too hot in the middle of a late spring hike.

These La Sportiva Exum Ridge trail running shoes are ultra rugged running shoes from one of the top boot manufacturers around. One of the best things going for these shoes is the polyurethane midsole. Since the midsole cushions the run part of the running shoes - polyurethane is good because it lasts longer than the mornal material, EVA foam, and it won’t absorb dirt, water, or mud either.
