It looks like there’s a bit of a bonus too, if you have just one North Face item in your order then free shipping applies to your whole order as long as it all ships together.
…I agree that this isn’t a great bargain either. Unfortunately Moosejaw and Backcountry Outlet canceled their 20% and 40% off coupons. Unless you can find your gear at Sierra Trading Post (their 10% off $79+ coupon is good until Nov. 5th) this is one of the better storewide deals right now.
